Disneyland, Trip 612

I just got back from another AWESOME trip to Disneyland! I went with my good friend Leann for her birthday. We had a blast, going on every ride possible and staying til it closed. My favorite ride? The Tower of Terror, of course!

I love you, Disneyland!

I must mention how much I hate Delta and will NEVER fly them again (pass it on). I get discounted tickets for employee travel with another airline and I had a ticket from LAX rather than Orange County and was assured by many other airline employees before I left that this would be acceptable and the cities were interchangeable because they were the exact same price. But nooooooo, I get to the Delta counter at Orange County and they saw my LAX tickets and said no way, Jose. They would not budge. In fact, they insisted I buy a new ticket home at $200. To add insult to injury, they charged me a $35 fee for booking it at the airport. On top of THAT, we had to pay to check in a bag because of a snow globe.
I HATE DELTA!!!!

Great news! Holly-Wolly-Doodle-All-The-Day is pregnant! It is a blessing we have been waiting for a long time. Any guesses of what it will be? All I know is it will come out like this:

...And wear cowboy boots.
Yay! I can't wait to be a Grandma again!

Road Trip

My kids are mean to me and there were no takers for Disneyworld, so I am doing the next best thing...

I'm going on a road trip to Phoenix to see my best friend, Janet. What a good way to get out of the snow and cold. Time to party with Janny!

Christmas 2008!

I asked Santa for James McAvoy wrapped up in a bow for Christmas, but he didn't deliver. Still, I had a pretty good Christmas:

Our Irish darlings Megan and Andrew got married and the whole clan came to Salt Lake for the wedding. It was a very nice reception with Irish music and dancing. That beats the traditional boring stand-in-a-line weddings that are infamous around here. Congratulations, Megan and Andrew! Tog e bog e!

Holly wished everyone a Merry Christmas. It was creepy.

I cooked up our traditional Chrismas aebleskivers (pronounced ab-ul-skee-verrrrr) and it was great to have the whole family there, including Michele, Paul, and Stacy.

I got my Wicked CD!

Then Steve decided to leave for Tokyo. He does this to me every year.

The snow pounded down on us for Christmas night. It was good Steve flew out before the blizzard hit.

All in all it was a wonderful Christmas, my favorite time of year!

I cannot wait for 12:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 20th because that is when I have tickets to see Twilight! Everyone knows I am a HUGE fan of the Twilight series (Team Edward!) and I could not put the books down once I started. I am going with my daughter and my surrogate daughter, Nicole, and we are just tickled pink that Cedric Diggory will be playing dear Edward. I always knew there was a future for him after Lord Voldemort stoled his life in Harry Potter. So I will let you know on Friday what I thought of the show!

"Remember, if the time should come, when you have to make a choice between what is right and what is easy, remember what happened to a boy who was good, and kind, and brave, because he strayed across the path of Lord Voldemort. Remember Cedric Diggory."
Albus Dumbledore[src]

What if I'm not the superhero. What if I'm the bad guy?"
