Every Penny Counts

I was watching the Dr. Oz show and he was explaining that if your purse is too heavy, you will have troubles with your back and posture. He was looking into women's purses and he pulled out all kinds of things and he told the ladies they need to clean up their purses. So I needed to survey my purse. Uh-oh, that is a big job. For years and years I have kept a ton of change in the bottom of my big purses. My children inform me that they lived off that change at the 7-11 for years. I never missed that change because I never knew how much was there.

Every so often my purse is extremely heavy and it hurts to carry it on my shoulder, so I know it is time to clean. That change helps me a lot if I just run to the store and grab something- I always have change.

My neighbor had a bottle of change and had her kids guess how much. So I decided to do the same. But the funny thing was is she got 42.00 dollars over a long period of time and I filled up a jar just within one sitting of cleaning out my change. $32.20 was in the bottom of my purse just this last time. No wonder my shoulder hurt. My kids took guesses and Maggie won, in fact she was only off by 20 cents. Oh my. Don't spend those all at once, Freda.
