Christmas Breakfast Dec.17

It is so hard to get these darn kids all together at once, but we managed to get most of them over for breakfast this weekend. All I have to say is "Mom's cooking" and these kids come running. I made aebelskiver, bacon, lil' weiners (aka little smokies), juice and oranges. It was delightful and we were all high off of powdered sugar fumes. Here's cute baby Vera.

My kids are small eaters (HA HA HA HA) So I only had to stand over that stove and cook a million batches. Luckily, we had a Christmas miracle and Mac helped me cook some. He only cooks if it is a Danish food.
And boy did I look good doing it. Wearing a Christmas sweater every day until Christmas is a must now.

Vera and Melanie. Melanie and Casey celebrated their 11th anniversary this weekend. Congratulations.

Mac, Evy and Maddi tickling the ivories that I never get tuned.

Sami and her cousin Simone

Mac and Jack's bum

Me and Zach. He is only scared of me sometimes.

It isn't Christmas unless I read my grandkids a Christmas story in my mormon fake grandma voice.

Evy, Jack, Maddi and Kate. Some of my Christmas angels.

Turkey Day! Gobble Gobble

We had a great Thanksgiving at Mom's this year.  'Chele and Stace came along with me, Mac, Holly and Evy.  Mom put on a great spread.  My favorite was the canned cranberry sauce- open and slide on a plate and voila! delicious.

And now let the holidays begin!  Thank heavens for cordial cherries!
