I have been doing lots of babysitting lately but I sure love my grandbabies. I watch Winston every Wednesday and Friday and he sure loves his Gangey.

Grandbaby #9!
Well I went to Holly's place last weekend to help with Evy and the new baby. I can't believe this is my ninth grandbaby to add to my babysitting jobs. How can I have 9 grandbabies when I just turned 39? I helped a lot with Evy, showering her with a princess cape and lots of M&Ms. She is a burning ball of energy.
And my cute little grandson Coleman. Who would have thought I would finally get redheaded grandbabies after all these years?

Israel 2011
Mac and I ditched our families around Christmastime as usual and headed to Israel for a romantic getaway. We were shooting for the warm Costa Rica, but we ended up here instead. I take my Disneyland jacket wherever I go and I can't wait for the announcement that they will build a Disneyland there someday. I kinda blend in don't I?
Not sure what this means. It was written everywhere. Someone please translate for me.
Israeli army- a must if you're 18, girl and guy. I hear they sleep with their machine guns at night.
Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem.
The Wailing Wall in Jerusalem. We get lost trying to find this place everytime. On our journey trying to get home we flew from Tel Aviv in coach for 12 hours (hmmph) to Newark then to Atlanta. We then slept overnight in the Atlanta airport, flew to San Diego and then SLC. Whew. Long journey.

Christmas Breakfast Dec.17
It is so hard to get these darn kids all together at once, but we managed to get most of them over for breakfast this weekend. All I have to say is "Mom's cooking" and these kids come running. I made aebelskiver, bacon, lil' weiners (aka little smokies), juice and oranges. It was delightful and we were all high off of powdered sugar fumes. Here's cute baby Vera.
My kids are small eaters (HA HA HA HA) So I only had to stand over that stove and cook a million batches. Luckily, we had a Christmas miracle and Mac helped me cook some. He only cooks if it is a Danish food.
And boy did I look good doing it. Wearing a Christmas sweater every day until Christmas is a must now.
Vera and Melanie. Melanie and Casey celebrated their 11th anniversary this weekend. Congratulations.
Mac, Evy and Maddi tickling the ivories that I never get tuned.
Sami and her cousin Simone
Mac and Jack's bum
Me and Zach. He is only scared of me sometimes.
It isn't Christmas unless I read my grandkids a Christmas story in my mormon fake grandma voice.
Evy, Jack, Maddi and Kate. Some of my Christmas angels.

Turkey Day! Gobble Gobble
We had a great Thanksgiving at Mom's this year. 'Chele and Stace came along with me, Mac, Holly and Evy. Mom put on a great spread. My favorite was the canned cranberry sauce- open and slide on a plate and voila! delicious.
And now let the holidays begin! Thank heavens for cordial cherries!
